What started out as a Design Firm, founded by the heartbeat of our company Designer, Cortney Bruce, has evolved into a full service Design & Build Team with combined custom home building experience of over 40 years.
Our team specializes in building timeless homes with unique charm. We are focused on helping our clients enjoy the building process from initial design to move-in day! We believe the key to providing a first class experience is great communication and excellent attention to detail.
Our team is based in Salado, Texas. We are so grateful to be serving the Central Texas Community we love so much!
The story of East 9th
It’s kind of a unique name, right? The very first project Cortney took on was her first home at 123 East 9th Avenue. It was a home she poured so much sweat, time and energy into. With the help of friends and family, they did all the renovations themselves and spent many nights and weekends working tirelessly. 123 East 9th was the place she fell in love designing homes and it’s where she learned to trust the process. Her favorite part of that project was hearing people say “I can’t believe this is the same house” once they were finished. That experience was the catalyst that led her to start dreaming about a career designing and building homes.
